Our First Project
Through our dedicated network of women in small pockets we are providing opportunities to those women who has the skill of knitting, weaving and hand embroidery. We provide resources, raw material, tools, designs and market for their finished goods outside and inside Afghanistan. we support skilled and talented women to polish the raw skills of others and nurture the new comers through training, introduction of new tools. We encourage entrepreneurship and project managers to be their boss by providing them resources.
Our first project kick started in March 2024 with the personal and friends contribution in northern Afghanistan where we bought 10 different types of sewing machines, employed 5 teachers, bought other essential tools and raw materials.
We put signs up and distributed leaflets, there were huge enthusiasms but due to financial and political issues we turned down majority only accepted 50 students. We are aiming to make our first project financially self-sufficient by end of July. Then our 2nd project which we are working on will start on 1st of August in Sarpol province.
