About Us

We Believe in Opportunity

"The world is full of wishes," Turpikai told Amnesty International. "I just have this wish: that my children and grandchildren have a piece of bread to eat [and] shoes to wear..."
Sequestered at home, a girl becomes just another mouth to feed. But as a bride, she's a valuable commodity.
Girls under 15 are five times more likely than women to die in childbirth, and their babies are often born premature.
We believe in opportunity. We believe if opportunity given to Turpikai, she will be able to fed her children and grand children. If opportunity given to the families they will not put their girls through nightmare. Lets stop this slavery under the guise of matrimony, help us support them

About Us

Not for Profit Organisation

And with Afghani background and familiarity with NGO's operation where admin cost is so high, we decided to establish a not for profit organisation (EMPOWER AFGHAN WOMEN) with aim to train Afghan Women how to catch fish instead of giving fish with the slogan (OPPORTUNITY NOT CHARITY). Our aim is, with a fraction of an international NGO's running cost, we will provide opportunities to Afghan women by training them, teach them know how, provide raw material, tools and designs, polish their raw talent, encourage entrepreneurship and market for their merchandise nationally and internationally.
